John (Jack) Bucchioni Selected Bio:
John (Jack) Bucchioni is a former educator, business executive, author, investment banker, and community leader based in Sussex County, Delaware. Born in Boston and raised in upstate New York, he earned his B.S. and Master's degree from Bloomsburg and Binghamton Universities before beginning his career as a teacher and adjunct graduate school professor. He later transitioned into the private sector, spending nearly three decades in senior executive roles with international companies, leading operations in manufacturing, marketing, and global supply chain management.
In 2018, Bucchioni founded Blue Coast Talk Media, a Delaware-based, 2025 award-winning news platform recognized for its coverage of local and statewide issues highlighting investigative community reporting. A dedicated civic leader, he has been actively involved with the Milton Lions Club, Lewes American Legion Post 17, and several other community organizations. He has also served on multiple boards, including the Delaware Democratic Party State Executive Committee and was elected as President Of The NAFC trade association (National Association Of Fundraising Companies).
Bucchioni has run for public office as a Democratic candidate for the Delaware House (District 20) and Senate (District 6), championing environmental protection, infrastructure investment, and quality-of-life improvements for Delaware residents.
He lives in Milton with his wife, Linda; Guided by his belief that “everyone is as good as, but never better than anyone else,” Bucchioni continues to embody a reputation of integrity, inclusion, and a lifelong commitment to public service and community engagement.
